In the Philippines, the coronavirus (Covid-19) disease jumped to 32,295 confirmed total cases, today Wensday, June 24, 2020, after the Philippine Department of Health (DOH) announced 470 new cases.
Half of Covid-19 cases from Metro Manila
Among the new cases of today, 357 were “recent” cases, those patients whose test results were done during the past three days, while 113 cases were marked as “late results”.
Nearly half or 225 of the recent cases came from Metro Manila, the country’s epicenter; 145 were recorded in Region VII or Central Visayas , while the remaining 100 came from other regions nationwide.
The total number of deaths is now 1,204 after 18 new deaths were reported today. Meanwhile, 214 new recoveries have been reported, raising the total number of survivors from Coved-19 to 8,656. Almost for more than 2 weaks, that the number of daily cured reached more than 200 cases.

Central Visayas police cancel all Cebu City quarantine passes
