Coronavirus infection in the country has reached over 36,000 cases as the Department of Health (DOH) reported on Monday 29 June , 2020 , 985 new cases. Metro Manila registered 319 of the new cases. Meanwhile, 135 came from Central Visayas, while the other 531 came from other regions nationwide.

Under the program, which is an ongoing “experiment,” tourists will book online tickets to board buses with several pitstops like beaches and restaurants, Marcos told reporters in an online press conference.

To match the demand for mass transit, the government has increased the public transportation capacity by allowing UV Express units to operate in Metro Manila beginning today, June 29. The government said 980 UV Express units would ply Metro Manila roads, servicing 47 routes.
