مانيلا ، الفلبين – أعلنت وزارة العمل الفلبينية يوم الخميس ، أن عاملة فلبينية (خادمة فلبينية) توفيت على يد كفيلها في الكويت – يقال إن جسمها به كمدات سوداء وزرقاء ويوجد “خيار” داخل مهبلها.
وقال وزير العمل سيلفستر بيلو الثالث إن الضحية البالغة من العمر 47 عامًا نقلت إلى (مستشفى الصباح) في 14 مايو الماضي ولكن تم إعلان وفاتها لدى وصولها.
وقال بيلو في بيان في وقت متأخر يوم الخميس “أن جسدها به كدمات مختلفة وورم دموي مع وجود” خيار “داخل الجزء الخاص بها.”
وقال بيلو أيضًا إنه أمر بالفعل إدارة التوظيف في الخارج ومكتب العمل الفلبيني في الكويت “بملاحقة الوكالات الأجنبية والمحلية” التي وظفت العاملة الفلبينية هناك.
“بصرف النظر عن الانتهاك الواضح لاتفاقية حماية العمال الفلبينيين بين حكومتنا والكويت ، يبدو أن هناك خرقًا لعقد العمل من قبل صاحب العمل”. وأضاف “إننا نعرب عن تعاطفنا مع الأسرة … وسنفعل كل ما في وسعنا لتحقيق العدالة”.

أكدت وزيرة الدولة للشؤون الاقتصادية الكويتية مريم العقيل، حرص بلادها على حماية حقوق العمالة “الوافدة ” لديها بشكل عام، والعمالة المنزلية بشكل خاص، مشددة على عدم السماح بأى انتهاك لحقوق أى عامل وافد فى الكويت.
وأوضحت العقيل اليوم الأحد، ردا على تصريحات وزير العمل الفلبينى، التى أعلن فيها إمكانية فرض بلاده حظرا على إرسال العمالة الفلبينية إلى الكويت، فى أعقاب وفاة خادمة فلبينية فى الكويت – أن التحقيقات مستمرة لمعرفة تفاصيل حادث الوفاة، ومعاقبة أى معتد إن ثبت وجود اعتداء.
وأشارت إلى أنه قد تحدث بين الحين والآخر، بعض الحوادث التى يروح ضحيتها أى عامل وافد، لافتة إلى أنها حالات فردية لا تعتبر مقياسا أو تقييما لمدى حرص الكويت على رعاية وحماية العمالة الوافدة بها.
وشددت المسؤولة الكويتية على أن الكويت دولة مؤسسات، وأن القضاء الكويتى، هو الملاذ الآمن للمواطنين والمقيمين، موضحة أن الكويت تحتضن مئات الآلاف من العمالة الوافدة، كونها من أكثر الدول جذبا للعمالة، لما تتمتع به العمالة من حرية وعمل آمن وحماية لحقوقها.
ومن جانبه، قال السكرتير الثالث، نائب القنصل فى السفارة الفلبينية لدى الكويت تشارلسون هيرموسورا – فى تصريح صحفى – إن السفارة ليس لديها أى معلومات رسمية عن مقتل الخادمة ماكونستسيل لاقو دايجو “48 عاما”، كما أنه لا يتوفر لديها أى نسخة من تحقيقات الشرطة، نافيا أن تكون السفارة على علم بتفاصيل مقتلها أو الدوافع خلفه، مشددا فى الوقت نفسه، على أن السفارة على تواصل مع السلطات الكويتية لكشف ملابسات الحادث.
وكانت وزارة الخارجية الكويتية، قد أعلنت فى بيان لها أمس السبت، أنها تتابع باهتمام حادث وفاة المواطنة الفلبينية التى وقعت قبل عدة أيام بالكويت، وأنها تتابع مع الجهات الأمنية التى باشرت التحقيقات منذ البداية، وستقوم بإطلاع السلطات الفلبينية على مجريات ونتائج التحقيق.
جدير بالذكر أن العام الماضى، شهد توتراً بين الكويت والفلبين، لدى قيام الحكومة الفلبينية بفرض حظر على إرسال العمالة إلى الكويت، عقب العثور على جثة خادمة فلبينية فى ثلاجة، وانتهى التوتر بتوقيع اتفاقية بين حكومتى البلدين لتنظيم ارسال العمالة الفلبينية إلى الكويت.
