If the next senatorial elections , who will win a seat?
Of the 66 names were included in a survey conducted by Pulse Asia showed, held from Sept. 1 to 7, 2017. 13 candidates from the 66 names are either former or incumbent legislators.
Results of the survey showed 70.1 percent of Filipino adults would have voted for Poe, giving her a ranking of solo first place. So, Grace Poe remains the top choice among preferred senatorial candidates for the 2019 midterm elections.
This will be second term for Poe, to run next year and she is on the top of the survey. She is followed by Rep. Pia Cayetano (for Taguig) with 55.7 percent. Sen. Cynthia Villar was the third (50.1%) and Davao City Mayor – Sara Duterte-Carpio was in the fourth place with 46.2%. See the table at the side to know the rank of each one in the survey.

Pulse Asia Research Inc. is a public opinion polling body in the Philippines. Pulse Asia Inc. was founded in 1999 as a for-profit private company. In 2013, the company re-formed as nonprofit organization and changed their name to Pulse Asia Research Inc.
The survey was held eight months before the 2019 midterm elections and a month prior to the filing of certificates of candidacy on Oct. 11 to 17.
For the survey, Pulse Asia asked 1,800 adults nationwide in the Philippines, with the following question: “If the 2019 elections were held today, who among the following personalities would you vote for, assuming they would run for senator?”
