China ask Philippines to Ban all online gambling

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (Pagcor) announced the suspension of issuance of new permits for online gaming operators (Pogos) starting Monday. That came in response to China appeals for Philippines to take an action against Online Gaming which is allowed in Philippines but illegal in China and dramatically hurts Chinese society.

China welcomed Manila’s decision not to accept new applications for online gaming, but China expects more from Philippines , asking the Philippines to ban all online gambling.

Gambling – of any form – is prohibited in China , as it is “the most dangerous tumor in modern society,” said Chinese official in a press conference Tuesday , presenting the official opinion of China. After being asked about China’s comment on Philippines”s suspension of new POGS , he answered: “We have also taken note of the Philippine government’s announcement and appreciates it. We hope the Philippines will go further and ban all online gambling,”.
